The following article is going to show you how to remove DRM from iTunes purchased music and video files so that you can play them on non-Apple portable players like Zune, PSP, BlackBerry, Creative Zen, import them into your Windows Movie Maker project, etc using Media Converter Pro.

Step 1. Download Media Converter Pro, install and launch it. ( free download )

Step 2. Add iTunes M4P M4V files

You can import the DRM M4P M4V files in three ways:

a. Load files by clicking the “Add…” button.

b. Directly drag and drop files to the left main window.

c. Right click on the left main window, click “Add files”.

Step 3. Select the output format

By clicking the “Convert audio to:” or “Convert video to:” box, you can select the output format for the source M4P M4V files. For example, if you want to watch the DRM iTunes M4V on your PSP, you can choose “PSP, PS3″ from the profile category list and choose “PSP Video MPEG-4(*.mp4) as the output format.

Step 4. Start to convert M4P M4V files

Step 2. Load iTunes movies or TV shows

It is easy to find iTunes movies and TV shows in the iTunes download directory. You can load them one by one or load in a batch; you can even load a folder of movies.

Step 3. Select output format

To convert iTunes M4V movies to plain MP4 AVI WMV MPEG files, just choose the proper one by clicking the “video files to” button. Almost all Video formats can be found in the “Common Video” catalog.

Step 4. Start to remove iTunes DRM and convert iTunes movies

Click the “Start” button to begin the conversion. When all of the steps above are finished you will gain plain movies without DRM protection.

Connect your device such as flash disc or iPod, then click the “copy to device” button and choose proper devices and files. Click “Next” to finish the transfer.
