If you wish to play your iTunes music that you purchased from the iTunes Store on another device like a BlackBerry, you will likely have to remove the DRM protection from the file. You can do this for 30 cents per song. Finding the place to do this took me a while, so I thought I’d share it.
1. Go into the iTunes store.
2. In the area marked Quick Links, click the Upgrade to iTunes Plus link.

3. You will provided with a list of songs you can upgrade to DRM free for 30 cents.
Note: You can also get a DRM removal software to help you legally remove DRM from iTunes if you have lots of music and video ready to be upgraded to DRM free. The software can help you convert the DRM protected music and video files to any format you need.
